Festival of the Natural World

This festival has been organised to include both lectures and short courses. There are also short taster sessions that might lead to a whole new interest. You can make your own festival plan by joining the subjects that interest you. Everyone can find something they are interested in learning. The activities can be an introduction to a new subject or an opportunity to add to your knowledge.

Festival aim

The aim of the virtual Festival of the Natural World is to enable everyone to study an exciting natural world subject they are interested in ranging from innovative British landscape painting to super volcanoes.

Who is this festival for?

A festival for everyone and anyone with an interest in the natural world and who would like to explore how we depict and respond to the world and understand the current challenges to our global future.

Conditions

As a registered charity, and to meet our funders’ requirements, we need to check a few things with you before you enrol. Please check the details below to ensure you meet the basic eligibility critiera:

  • You are paying the standard fee (with a credit or debit card) or you are on any of the qualifying benefits
  • You have a valid email address so that you can receive confirmation of your booking
  • You have been resident in the UK, EU or EEA for the last 3 years
  • You are aged 19 years or older on 1st September 2020
  • You declare that the address you provide is correct and that you will provide evidence of this and your eligibility to live and work in the UK
