We will help you learn about all the features of Zoom APP, from learning online, working online or communicating with friends online. We will help you increase your confidence on using ZOOM and become an independent learner. You do not have to have had any previous knowledge to join the course and is open to people whose first language is not English

Course aim

You will learn how to communicate, learn and listen online through ZOOM APP. We will help you learn all the feature of Zoom, so you can learn online, work online and communicate online.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • You will need your own personal email address so that you’re able to login to the WEA’s digital learning platform: WEA Canvas.   • This course is for beginners

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • I will learn to become more confident in using the internet.
  • You will learn how to keep safe online.
  • You will learn skills to become a more independent learner

How will I be taught?

  • The WEA’s digital learning platform, Canvas will be used to provide resources or to support lessons, enable assessment, provide learner feedback and for other activities for individuals away from the course. What kind of feedback can I expect?

  • You will be able to keep a record of your progress and achievement using photos, audio, text or documents uploaded into the WEA’s digital learning platform, WEA Canvas.
  • Your tutor will provide written, text and audio feedback recorded in WEA Canvas, WEA’s digital learning platform.

What else do I need to know?
