Supporting Your Child With Key Stage 2 Maths

Ref: C3745519

We will cover activities that the whole family can engage in together, that use Maths skills without the children really knowing it is Maths they are using. There will also be activities that children can do on their own, whilst having fun and keeping them occupied and using their brains. Some activities will be physical, keeping them moving, others will be stationary or computer based. Some of the ideas can be used on holiday, too. We will try out a few activities ourselves and have time for looking at any areas of Maths you, the parents, are less confident with, so you can help your children in those areas too. Confidence is such an important factor in children's learning of Maths, so if you are as confident as possible in your skills, you can promote confidence in them too.
