They lived in squares, painted in circles and loved in triangles. So said Dorothy Parker of the infamous Bloomsbury set. This day school looks at the unconventional lives and avant-garde works of the Bloomsbury writers and artists. From Virginia Woolf and her development of the stream-of-consciousness style of writing, to Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant, pioneers of the design enterprise Omega Workshops, we will consider the creative impact of this fascinating circle of artists, writers, publishers and critics. We will work from extracts from novels, letters, diaries and paintings to consider the impact of this fascinating and bohemian group of people. The fee will be £30 and will include lunch
