In this course for Managing Anxiety we will look at what happens to the body when we become anxious and what some of the associated symptoms are. We will then go on to explore what strategies and coping mechanisms we can employ to help manage our emotions

  • No skills or experience needed

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Explain what anxiety is
  • Describe the physical symptoms of anxiety
  • Practice one technique to help manage anxiety

How will I be taught?

  • The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning

What kind of feedback can I expect?

  • You will be encouraged to share your work with the group and discuss your learning

  • Nothing else is needed
