Day School: Experiment with Monoprint

Ref: C3744397

An introduction to this painterly and expressive form of printmaking. Monoprint is a simple form of printmaking where ink or paint is rolled onto sheet of glass or plastic and is worked into to produce a one off image. The morning will include experimenting with mark making and painterly effects. The afternoon session will give the opportunity to develop ideas further into a final piece. No previous printmaking experience is required. As no printing press is required the methods learnt can be repeated at home with easily purchased materials.
