Seminar: "Prince Albert"

Ref: C3744290

2019 sees the bicentenary of the births of Queen Victoria and her husband, Prince Albert. While Victoria has received a great deal of attention, Albert is far less well-known. An obscure German prince, he was also formidably intelligent and hard-working and was the power behind Victoria's throne. But he was never truly popular and it was only after his early death that his great qualities were appreciated.
