A walk in the Park - doodles, Craft & family literacy

Ref: C3678042

“It’s a Walk in The Park” This course is designed to engage everyone, from those who are home teaching the family, for those who always thought of drawing but never had the confidence to join a class, to those looking for a little project to occupy their time and explore their imagination. This is drawing for the uninitiated, a fun way to capture a moment, a shared memory, to reflect. We will learn how to develop spontaneous drawing techniques, information gathering and record a personal response to the world. Think about it as a treasure hunt of shared experience or a personal record. Developing new and creative ways to look, see and remember (research, record and respond). The aim is to cultivate personal curiosity, a confidence in creative thinking, coupled with the knowledge of the places you’ve come know and enjoy. Ultimately we will build a visual map of your ‘Lock-down walk in the park’ for posterity. A great pictorial reference to share with others about this outlandish time.

Course aim

Fun for all. Learn basic drawing techniques, recording different information and responding to your favourite place. We will make a visual map "Its a Walk in the Park" Drawing, gathering information and capturing the memories of our exercise route.
