A two hour family session that offers fun simple craft activities suitable for all levels. The intention is to share the craft activities as a family but also have ideas to take home to make during the Easter holiday break. All materials are supplied

This course is for parents/carers/families of children who attend this school.

Course aim

This is an informal family session offering a range of simple crafts to be shared at the session with ideas to take home as well

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • No skills or experience needed
  • This course is suitable for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Share the making of a simple craft activity
  • Develop some ideas to repeat at home with my children
  • recognise the creative potential of simple materials

How will I be taught?

  • This is a practical hands-on session where there will be some illustrated instruction sheets and lots of sharing of methods

What kind of feedback can I expect?

  • You will have opportunities to discuss your progress with your tutor
  • You will be encouraged to share your work with the group and discuss your learning
  • You will be encouraged to consider other students work and give your opinions and suggestions

What else do I need to know?

  • Nothing else is needed
  • All materials will be provided

  • No pre reading or pre course work is required
