This adabtable yoga course will help to increase your flexibility. It will teach you how to breathe correctly. It will help to re-energise, increasing stamina and physical strength. We will also enjoy a deep relaxation completing the session.

Course aim

The adaptable yoga course will help flexibility and posture this will help to improve your general health and well being. It will bring you an awareness of your body, your strengths and your weaknesses.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • No skills or experience needed
  • This course is suitable for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • This course help you to understand the basics, benefits and philosophy of yoga.
  • Yoga will help to increase your flexibility and posture, helping to improve your overall health and well being.
  • Through Pranayama (breath) it will help you to relax. Learning to breath correctly helps with blood pressure, mild anxieties, it will increase oxygen flow with in the body which will refresh your mind your body and your spirit.
  • Gentle stretches will help to ease stiff joints and muscle groups. It will strengthen your central nervous system helping you to become more focused, balanced and grounded.
  • We will finish our session with a deeply healing relaxation, enabling you to feel refreshed and rested. Through our sessions of yoga the emphasis is on your general health and well being, this course will give you a sense of awareness within your body helping you to make right choices for your health and general fitness.

How will I be taught?

  • All of our sessions will take place in the Yoga Room. You maybe given light homework such as breath exercise or simple stretches for you to practice at home.

What kind of feedback can I expect?

  • You will have opportunities to discuss your progress with your tutor
  • You will be encouraged to share your work with the group and discuss your learning

What else do I need to know?

  • All materials will be provided
  • A selection of materials and basic equipment will be provided but you are welcome to bring additional materials with you

Pre-course work, reading and information sources

  • No pre reading or pre course work is required
