This course offers the opportunity to have a go at the “Great British Throw-down” and making something more interesting out of lumps of clay (or as I call it posh mud). A fun course that will give you the opportunity to work with clay and pottery techniques. Open to all levels including beginners, you will explore different making and decorating techniques such as: Imprinting, slip decoration, pinch pot, coiling and slab building methods to make and personalise your work. All materials will be provided, work fired and glazed in the traditional way to a recognised finish (shiny, lovely, long-lasting and individual). Come and join like-minded people in a safe and friendly environment. All are welcome.
