Triple P Parenting Program - St Clements

Ref: C3531230

Triple P (Positive Parenting Programme) is an accredited, evidence-based parenting programme. This means: • There has been much research done to prove that it is effective in reducing problem behaviours in children, increasing desirable behaviour in children and improving relationships between children and carers. • The course is recognised by the medical advisory body, NICE (National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence). The course will help parents and carers understand the factors that influence and shape child behaviour. The course will then go on to help parents learn some simple, positive and effective ways of encouraging wanted behaviour and discouraging unwanted behaviour in children. It will also help parents and carers learn how to nurture a positive relationship with their child and improve their child's self-esteem. Group participants will learn from and problem-solve with each other as well as with the group leader.
