Trollop - The Barchester Chronicles

Ref: C3531085

This course will study The Warden and Barchester Towers which make up the first two novels of the Barchester Chronicles series by Anthony Trollope. This series of novels are probably the most universally popular novels by this great Victorian novelist and The Warden and Barchester Towers introduce us to a set of characters that have become amongst the best known in literature; from the quiet Reverend Septimus Harding who is the moral centre of these novels to the odious Obadiah Slope; there is so much in these two novels to enjoy.
