Course aim

To critically examine the scientific basis for research in Parapsychology.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • No skills or experience needed
  • This course is open to anyone to attend.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • understand the subject matte of para-psychological research.
  • become familiar with some of the methodologies used.
  • appreciate the argument for Parapsychology as a pseudo-science.
  • review the evidence for and against both sides of the argument and reach my own conclusion on this debate
  • Understand the work of the Wellcome Trust

How will I be taught?

  • The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning

What kind of feedback can I expect?

  • opportunities for follow up courses will be suggested.

  • Nothing else is needed
