Taster session - A is for Agitprop This session will explore the links between the political art of Paris 68 and 90s UK and international street protests against the car and economic globalisation.

Course aim

Taster session for History of Environmental Protest course.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • No skills or experience needed

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Understand some of the links between modern environmental protests and baby boomer protest of the 60s.
  • Have a greater awareness of how environmental protest uses imagery to communicate it's messages.

How will I be taught?

  • The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning

  • You will be encouraged to consider other students work and give your opinions and suggestions

What else do I need to know?

  • All materials will be provided
