Drawing and Painting including colour

Ref: C3530649

We will explore the elements of drawing such as line, tone and colour by looking at natural forms and use perspective to place them in a convincing space. We will develop observational skills by analysing forms, proportion and composition and learn how to mix warm and cool colours from the 3 primary colours and tints and shades to convincingly portray what we see. Each week we will look at artists' work such as Picasso, Klee, Rembrandt to inform our own practice. Bring a sketchbook and a HB and 2B pencil. Advice on paints given after the first week.
