In this course we will look at ways to make Art a part of your lives, and how to share it with others. Students will select their own themes and the tutor will present ways of developing these ideas - introducing new techniques. Some students may like the idea of creating cards to share with friends and family whilst other students may be more interested in discovering ways to exhibit and sell work. There will also be the opportunity to develop stencils for use as part of an outdoor paint project. The emphasis of the course will still focus, above all, on creating great Art and enjoying the process of doing so. Students will help to shape course content. Learning through discussion, quizzes, group work and weekly practical sessions.

Course aim

  • Exhibit and share my artwork either in the classroom, online or in a public space.
  • Share with my peers the journey I have undertaken in my sketchbook and reflect on the various mediums I have used.

How will I be taught?
