This How to use Etsy workshop will talk you through how to join Etsy, how to create your online profile, how to list items and how to make the most of the platform to sell your handcrafted goods.

Course aim

How to use Etsy is a one off workshop for beginners to introduce you to the Etsy platform for selling handmade goods.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for beginners

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Understanding how to use Etsy
  • Understand how to list items on Etsy
  • How to utilise the Etsy profile.
  • How much it costs to sell on Etsy
  • How to advertise your Etsy shop to friends, family and beyond

How will I be taught?

  • The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning

What kind of feedback can I expect?

  • You will have opportunities to discuss your progress with your tutor

What else do I need to know?

  • It would be helpful if you had access to the internet (Mobile phone, tablet or computer at home or through a library etc.)
  • If you have samples of your products which you plan to sell on this platform we would love to see them and give feedback and additional information that maybe useful to your business.
