Art At The Movies: The Sequel

Ref: C3127081

There might be 'No place like home' but there is also no place like a WEA classroom when we bring Art to the Movies again! This course is another great opportunity to fuse our love of both film and art. As the course goes along we will not only look at the images from the films but we will be listening to the soundtracks and playing interactive quizzes as we go along, possibly even getting into character! We will get to know your favorite films and you may well be discovering some new ones. As we look at each film we will be examining and themes, graphics and characters to create original art using a range of materials. At the end of this course, students will be have created their own characters, scenes and plot lines too. 'Life is like a box of chocolates' but on this course we can offer you even more experiences than Willy Wonk has chocolates in his factory.

Course aim

'It's Alive' again and we promised we'd 'be back!' After the popularity of the first course, we've created a sequel and in this course we will be encouraging students to watch films, talk about films and create art inspired by films.
