Art Appreciation

Ref: C2525432

Ten works of art. Each week we will focus on one work of art. We will examine the piece in detail and consider the maker, the time it was made and the different ideas, techniques and media that were used. The works of art will be chosen from different time periods and we will analyse how the economic, political, historical and social contexts shaped the art and their makers. Works will include Marcel Duchamp's Fountain, Pablo Picasso's Guernica, Judy Chicago's Dinner Party and Tracey Emin's My Bed.
