Practical Drawing and Watercolour

Ref: C2421286

The drawing and water colour course is designed to explore different ways of looking; drawing with a range of materials including pastels (which contemporary artists and the impressionist painters used), and developing a watercolour painting technique. You will develop your own sketchbooks with observational and imaginative drawing; also mixed media work. Learn how to show perspective in your landscapes working in the studio and in two outside 2 sessions at Courthouse Park, the local park. We will look at examples of different styles of drawing a variety of artists use and also pen and ink and water colour techniques.
