It has been central to historical films and provided the backdrop for romances as well as adventures, quests and tales of endurance. Course aim

Taking the 50th anniversary of seminal anti-war film MASH as its springboard, this lecture will explore a range of war and anti-war films

  • By the end of the course, I will looked at films in their political and historic context
