Tackling Climate Change Together

Ref: C2342943

Do you recognise that we are facing a Climate Emergency but aren't sure how to respond? This course will help you appreciate how this has happened and equip you to work hopefully and effectively, alone and with other people, to respond to its challenges. We will examine the nature of climate change and some of its consequences, and help you clarify what you think and feel about the situation we now face. We'll examine ways of responding positively to this, using guidance from "Zero Carbon Britain", and the concept of the "Carbon Footprint". The course will help you choose what action you will take yourself, and put this into effect, with the support of others. The course will take a hopeful though realistic approach. It will use our collective strengths to help each of us play our part in rising to this global challenge.
