Dressmaking Advanced

Ref: C2342455

The course covers how to sew complex garments using specialist fabrics, like silk and bonded fabrics. It will cover techniques to give the garments a good finished appearance. There will be an opportunity to use different sewing machines like overlockers to sew stretch fabrics too. There will also be sessions on how to adapt patterns to get a personalised fit. We will also learn how to clone existing garments and how to use a dummy to create our own patterns. We will also touch on how to adapt and design using dressmaking patterns as a block.
