Anatomy and Physiology for Fun

Ref: C2227110

Using traditional and alternative approaches to understanding the body, learn the mechanisms of eg blood, cells, lymph and internal organs in the context of each of the body’s systems. Think about ancient systems for understanding the body in illness and health and how that relates to today’s understanding. Learn a little of the Eastern philosophies and their approach and how that gets used in treatments. Become more familiar with your own body via simple meditations, fun quizzes and practical examples. Be enthralled by your body's amazing, mostly unseen and un-felt everyday activities. Lucy Blunden is a medical herbalist and uses anatomy & physiology in her toolkit for working with patients. She is a dynamic and passionate teacher who will bring to life the wonder that is your body.
