Day School: The Treaty of Versailles and its Fallout

Ref: C2226957

The Versailles Settlement of 1919 has long been seen as a massively flawed set of treaties and a cause of the Second World War. In this day school we consider the aims of the makers and the circumstances in which they worked. We will look at how the several treaties with the defeated nations came into being, analyse their shortcomings and their impact on the world today. You may even find your view of the settlement changed by what we study.
