Day School: History Everywhere!

Ref: C2226908

From Stonehenge to the bare fells of the Lake District and Bath's Royal Crescent to the Post Office Tower, Britain's history lies in castles, cathedrals and cottages, the turn of a lane, the shape of a field, the pattern of trees and woods and in the names for all of these and any other place. Both deliberately and unconsciously, landscapes are worked and reworked in small ways or in great reforms but the traces of earlier generations are rarely lost completely.
