This course is for those who have completed an introductory class and want to continue to share their ideas, to look at the world homeopathically, to explore their own and their families health patterns and to also do more practical case taking and learning of homeopathic remedies. Homeopathy is fascinating, and once you have understood a homeopathic take on illness, health, life-everything looks different! This course is a space for people to explore these ideas further and to understand themselves more as well as to do some practical work and share results with fellow learners.

Course aim

for learners to continue their exploration of homeopathy-philosophically and on a practical level.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • This course is for improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • explain the difference between acute and chronic illness
  • describe 3 key characteristics of 5 common remedies
  • be more confident at prescribing homeopathic remedies

How will I be taught?

  • The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning
  • role play . tutor led, paper cases. group discussion.

What kind of feedback can I expect?

  • A range of informal activities will be used by the tutor to see what you are learning which may include quizzes, question and answer, small projects and discussion
  • You will have opportunities to discuss your progress with your tutor
  • You will be encouraged to share your work with the group and discuss your learning
  • You will be encouraged to consider other students work and give your opinions and suggestions

Pre-course work, reading and information sources

  • No pre reading is required but research on the subject on the internet or in the library may be helpful

What can I do next?

  • Become involved with the WEA in a range of voluntary work and other activities including campaigning as a WEA member
  • Become involved as a volunteer for a WEA partner or another organisation
