Increase your satisfaction in life opportunities and work, because you will be able to state clearly what you want. When you know what you want you will be able to prioritize your own needs. You will discover how you can explore what you want with the result that what you want is made into a priority. You will practice skills to help you prioritise your own needs. This will let you take more control of your own life and work. You will discover tools to build the confidence to say what you want and what you don't want.

Course aim

To explore ways of understanding what you want, saying what you want and practising setting your own priorities.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • No skills or experience needed

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Create a vision board
  • Identify what you would like
  • State clearly what you would like
  • State clearly that you are not able to do something requested of you

How will I be taught?

  • The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning

What kind of feedback can I expect?

  • A range of informal activities will be used by the tutor to see what you are learning which may include quizzes, question and answer, small projects and discussion

What else do I need to know?

  • Nothing else is needed
