Me & My Community

Ref: C3842898

The programme is a focused course to help those that are new to the UK to integrate and become model citizens. The tutor led course will help students to improve their English Language Skills and vocabulary through learning activities and techniques to achieve positive results. The 12-week course will aim to support the learners, so they can confidently address the issues that may prevent them with integrating successfully. The course will cover tasks to help learners to become confident to help build their self esteem. The support will help cover skills such as liaising with the local medical practitioners, shopping and educational institutions. Further interactions will be provided to involve the learners with community cohesion and accepting cultural behaviours to help them become connected with the surrounding settings they live in. At the end of the course the learners will have discovered some dynamic methods in being confident in promoting themselves.
