Following the Line - Explorations in Printmaking

Ref: C3841880

To coincide with Tate Liverpool's exciting exhibition featuring the French artist Fernand Leger, this course aims to take inspiration from his distinctive use of bold graphic line and fractured tubular shapes to help you develop your own way of exploring line. A series of playful drawing and making workshops in the gallery, studio and on location will encourage you to use unconventional drawing tools and methods to extend your notion of drawing. These experimental drawings will be developed further through relief printmaking methods, specifically focusing on graphic image making techniques used in monoprint and collagraphy. No experience is necessary just an open mind and a willingness to seek creative solutions through play.
