This course is provided for MF Trust to provide students with an awareness of their common response to potentially stressful situations, begin to consider whether this is helpful, and to consider other ways in which they might respond

Course aim

The course is provided to MF Trust to help them to identify their common response to strong emotions, and to recognise if this is appropriate and helpful, and to consider ways to respond it a different way

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • No skills or experience needed

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Identify common situations which cause strong emotions
  • Consider whether our response to some situations is helpful
  • Identify other ways of responding to potentially stressful situations

How will I be taught?

  • The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning

What kind of feedback can I expect?

  • A range of informal activities will be used by the tutor to see what you are learning which may include quizzes, question and answer, small projects and discussion

What else do I need to know?

  • Nothing else is needed
