This course is for students who have already passed one or more ESOL Level 1 exams. We will practice using different strategies to find the meaning of unfamiliar words. We will look at writing for a range of purposes and audiences, and consider how this changes the structure and vocabulary required. We will identify the purpose of texts, and consider how a text can have multiple purposes depending on the reader. You will practice giving opinions in discussions on topical subjects, listening and responding to the views of others, and using non-verbal communication to help you understand how others are feeling.
