Course aim

Enjoy learning about the mass impact of the Crystal Palace at both it's locations and about developments in social history through London's exhibitions.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • No skills or experience needed
  • Accessible to anyone with an interest in London's social history.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Explain some of the history of major exhibitions held in London.
  • Explain the influence that London Exhibitions had on the world of art and architecture.
  • Analyse the impact of London's exhibitions and it's social history.

How will I be taught?

  • The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning

What kind of feedback can I expect?

  • Verbal feedback in response to questions and discussions during the session.

  • Nothing else is needed
