Earth, Air, Fire and Water: The Geological Processes that Shape our Planet

Ref: C3742971

How do volcanoes erupt? What makes earthquakes so destructive? Why do tsunamis occur? How do oceans work to control climate? All these questions, and more, will be discussed in this fascinating course.

Course aim

To provide an insight into how mobile and active the natural forces are on Earth and how geology is responsible for all! Explore everything from volcanoes to oceans.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • No skills or experience needed
  • This course is suitable for beginners and improvers

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Recognise and describe the main factors that have shaped, and continue to shape, our Earth
