Art Workshops 4: Drawing with Colour

Ref: C3742898

I want the students to learn and feel free in their use of line and colour and to experiment, we will be using soft pastels, coloured pencils, paint and coloured ink both with brushes and pen. The process of drawing is... 'The process of putting the visual intelligence into action, the very mechanics of visual thought. Unlike painting and sculpture... the artist makes clear to himself and not to the spectator what he is doing. It is a soliloquy before it becomes communication.’ (Michael Ayrton)

Course aim
