Seminar: The Matchstick Man

Ref: C3742798

Discover the real matchstick man. Whilst embracing and analysing his industrial landscape paintings which are well known, this course also provides an insight into Lowry's secret life, it unlocks the influences and mystery behind his work and reveals his less well known expressionist works and the symbolism in his later works which link to his emotions. It examines and explains his painting and drawing techniques whilst delving into this man's character and personal life allowing the learner to create links between the real matchstick man and his work.
