Seminar: Some Modern London Icons

Ref: C3742738

Recent years have seen some of the most influential modern architects designing new buildings for London, and right now there is a veritable building boom going on. This work includes Norman Foster’s Gherkin, Richard Rogers' Cheese-grater, Renzo Piano’s Shard, Raphael Vinoly's Walkie Talkie and many many more. Before developers run out of nicknames we will take a virtual tour in the classroom looking at the structure, materials and impact of these new additions in the capital.
