Day School - Sowing Conflict in the Middle East

Ref: C3529533

The seeds of today's conflicts that dominate the Middle East were sown in the early 19th century. They were the result of Europe's great powers expanding their spheres of influence in exploiting the desire for nationalism amongst the many individual territories of the rapidly collapsing Ottoman Empire.

Course aim

To assist learners in identifying the causes behind conflicts that in 2018 are taking the MIddle East regional powers ever closer to warfare that may well involve the USA, Russia, Israel, Iran and Turkey
