More Art for Everyone

Ref: C3126621

This friendly and relaxed art class will provide the opportunity for you to further develop your painting and drawing skills as well as your knowledge and appreciation of art. This course is designed as a good lead on from Art For Everyone course, but all levels and abilities can be catered for with individual guidance from the tutor. This term will be based on four interesting themes: Observational drawing from still life, where you will concentrate on line and form. Landscapes in watercolour, looking at skies and sunsets and connecting with the landscape. Portraiture in pastels, working from photos, you’ll look to use proportions and to create good skin tones. Finally, we will look at Pop Art, looking at masters of the movement for inspiration, to produce your own unique piece in acrylic paints. The techniques covered across the term will give you a further knowledge base to expand your creativity further.
