Ref: C2524041

This course examines films made by British studios, British producers or British directors between 1959 and 1979. Over eleven weeks, we will examine films from different genres such as ‘kitchen sink’ dramas, psychological dramas, comedy, romance, crime, ‘big screen’ cinema and horror. Films include: 'Saturday Night and Sunday Morning', 'This Sporting Life', 'Dr No'. 'A Hard Day's Nigh't, 'Alfie', 'Carry On... Up the Khyber', 'The Go-Between', 'Performance', 'If', 'Barry Lyndon', and 'The Wicker Man'.
