Container Gardening taster

Ref: C2420915

Gardening is a generous life skill which we can all enjoy and benefit from no matter how small our space. This course will introduce us to feelgood plants, with exciting scents and colours, which can calm us or uplift our spirits, and can be grown in pots or hanging baskets. We will explore which plants grow best in containers, and how to care for them. we will learn how to grow vegetables and herbs that we can cook with, but that also look great in pots and hand hanging baskets. we'll look at what containers we can use-recycling opportunities-where students can bring items from home to grow in..for example-an old boot makes a great pot!
