One of the main topics this term will be looking at sports and which type of sport we play as individuals or as a group. We will also look at recycling and create a craft based on this, along with projects on The Queen and her castles, transport and holiday memories.

Course aim

This course aims to support you to express yourself through art and craft projects. You will be encouraged to experiment with colour and shape, learn new skills and explore the wider world.

Do I need any particular skills or experience?

  • No skills or experience needed

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Create a craft based on your favourite sport
  • Make a piece of art work using recycled materials
  • Create a display about the Queen and her castles.
  • Travel and transport craft.
  • made a holiday memory cratf

How will I be taught?

  • The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning

What kind of feedback can I expect?

  • A range of informal activities will be used by the tutor to see what you are learning which may include quizzes, question and answer, small projects and discussion
  • You will be encouraged to share your work with the group and discuss your learning
  • A file of work will be kept which will help to record your progress

What else do I need to know?

  • Nothing else is needed
