Shakespeare on Film

Ref: C2341102

Film makers have often been attracted to Shakepeare's plays and the results have often been very interesting and entertaining. We will look at what Shakespeare makes his plays 'cinematic' and by looking at a number of films in detail (from the silents to the present) we will see how they reflect their times. A course for fans of the Bard and / or cinema enthusiasts!
