How British Politics Work

Ref: C2341094

If you have ever said "I know nothing about politics" or "I don't like politics", the course will explain, in uncomplicated terms, the basic functions of the main parts of the British political system. Assuming no prior knowledge of politics, it will clarify the powers of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, and their links with Houses of Commons and Lords, plus an explanation of the electoral system and the main parties. The controversial question of reform of the political institutions will be discussed.
