We will look at yoga exercise to strengthen and create flexibility in the body. Yoga breathing to help create calmness and manage stress, while keeping the body healthy and basic meditation and relaxation practices to improve overall wellbeing. Students will be encouraged to practices these new skills at home for further benefit.

- This course is suitable for beginners and improvers
By the end of the course I should be able to:
- Know ways to move the body with yoga to help create a feeling of wellbeing.
- Know how to practice beginners meditation and relaxation techniques to create calm and enable relaxation.
- Explore basic yoga philosophy to deepen the practice.
How will I be taught?
- The WEA tutor will use a range of different teaching and learning methods and encourage you and the group to be actively involved in your learning
What kind of feedback can I expect?
- You will be encouraged to share your work with the group and discuss your learning
