Poetry Appreciation: Poems through the Ages

Ref: C2340839

The course will introduce new poets and the more familiar ones, with something for everyone, using the new anthology, "The Map and the Clock". We will read aloud and silently and discuss a variety of interpretations, using DVDs, the internet and CDs, where possible, to enhance our enjoyment. Information about the poets and their lives will be included. This is an established and friendly group who share a love of poetry and are happy to welcome like-minded new recruits. Much enjoyment is to be obtained by sharing ideas and interpretations in a relaxed atmosphere.
