Day School: Picasso

Ref: C2226464

During this day-school we will explore the art and life of one of modern art’s most celebrated artists, Pablo Picasso (1881-1973). In 1932, Picasso explained to Teriade that 'the body of work one creates is a form of diary'. From the early years in Barcelona to the late dialogue with the Masters, from famous masterpieces to lesser-known works, we will shed light on the connections between his works and events in his life. This approach will help us gain a better understanding of Picasso's powerful urge to create.
