Day School: The Earth Is All Before Us

Ref: C2226463

Many of us are becoming increasingly cut off from the natural world through urban lives and our devotion to the technological miracles that surround us. We are slowly succumbing to a condition known as ‘Nature Deficit Disorder’, whose symptoms include experiences of exhaustion and depression. How can we help ourselves and cheer up? A recent upsurge in nature-writing explores the importance of our connectedness with nature, at a personal level. This connectedness can sharpen our awareness of beauty and raise our spirits; it can also restore our sense of wonder and well-being.
