Trip to The Queens Gallery and The Florence Nightingale Museum

A field trip to the Queens Gallery at Buckingham Palace to see the current Russian art exhibition followed by a visit to the Florence Nightingale Museum. Students to meet at The Royal square at 9am for a coach to take students to The Queens Museum (arriving approximately 11am). The coach will then take students to The Florence Nightingale Museum and back to the meeting place by approximately 6pm. The fee includes the coach fare and entrance fee to both exhibitions. Lunch not included.

By the end of the course I should be able to:

  • Discuss the art pieces exhibited at the Queens Gallery
  • Discuss the pieces exhibited at the Florence Nightingale Museum
  • Identify the historical relevance of the pieces in both venues

How will I be taught?

  • This is a self-guided trip. Discussion of the pieces exhibited is encouraged.

What kind of feedback can I expect?

What else do I need to know?

  • Weather appropriate clothing is encouraged. You may like to being a small notepad to make notes of the pieces you observe. Lunch is not provided so you may wish to bring a packed lunch.
